Previews and approval.
Offers, the preview before paying, drafts, changes and the live post.
How long does an offer last?
7 days. A counter changes the price and starts the 7 days again. An offer nobody answers expires, and nothing is paid.
How long does a brand have to pay?
3 days from agreeing. A deal that isn’t paid by then is cancelled, and no money moves.
What’s a preview?
A brand’s offer can ask for one short preview before paying. Once the studio accepts, it has 3 days to send a still or a clip of up to 5 seconds, private to the deal. The brand then has 3 days to pay or pass; if it passes, the deal ends and nothing was paid.
How long does a brand have to review a draft?
5 days. It can approve, ask for changes or raise a problem. A draft it doesn’t answer counts as approved.
How many rounds of changes can a brand ask for?
Twice per deal. After that it approves the draft or raises a problem.
What if the post never goes live?
Before the first draft, either side can cancel and the brand is refunded in full. After that, either side can raise a problem and the money stays held until it’s settled.
Does Synthicate check the live post?
It checks that a TikTok or YouTube post exists and was posted by the creator’s own account, when the studio sends the link. Instagram posts aren’t checked automatically. A check never vouches for views: every number is the studio’s own.
