Accessibility.
What the product holds itself to, what isn’t right yet, and how to tell us when something is in your way.
The standard we aim at
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, at level AA. What follows is what the product does today, not a claim that it conforms.
What the product holds itself to
- Controls you can hit. Buttons, fields and the other controls are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- Contrast. Text is at least 4.5:1 against its background, and the edge of anything you can operate at least 3:1.
- Colour is never the only signal. A creator’s week is a shape and a word as well as a colour ( Rising, Steady, Cooling, Stalled, New). A count of what’s waiting on you has its words for screen readers, and a finished step has a check.
- The keyboard. Anything you can operate shows a focus ring when you reach it from the keyboard.
- Reduced motion. If your system asks for less motion, the product’s animation switches off. The landing’s moving hero is decoration: it’s hidden from screen readers, and it holds still under reduced motion.
What isn’t right yet
- The charts’ tooltips don’t open from touch or the keyboard yet. That’s planned for a later polish stage.
